A beautiful view over lake Hawea - the previous night had been spent in a rat invested hut with a very nice hunter called Anthony. I couldn't face another rodent night and slept in my tent but Phil, Madeleine and Anthony slept in the hut with sleep punctuated by the gnawing of furry friend that climbed the rafters , tried to access food hanging from the ceilings and refused to be disuaded by lights or threats.
