Blood and Blisters

90 mile beach may not be as long as it's name suggests but it is very long and there is a lot of sea and sand. I didn't find the beach walk as hard as I had expected but I was never the less exceedingly pleased to reach Ahipara. The blisters were turning to blood blisters and my feet needed to get off the sand!

We stayed in the lovely Endless Summer Lodge and had a much needed hot shower.

Blisters already that's not a good sign...

I remember 90 mile beach well. It seemed to go on forever and that was in a bus!

Wow, that seemed another quick update on 90 mile beach. Hope those blisters settle very quickly. Where are your magic plasters?! Elaine x

I hope it was't as bad as your Kisangani shower. Good luck from your African Father Craig.

Sounds like a good start!Watch those blisters. Beach walking is lovely for a short time but that sand can be wicked especially for blisters. Take care.Keep well. EstelleX
